Information: Flanders Business School, founded in 1977, is still an independant educational institution. This allows us, in complete freedom to develop our own unique training concepts adapted to our students. We pride ourselves on being close to our business partners and being able to flexibly respond to their needs. Even when they change.
In 2013, Flanders Business School entered into a close partnership with KU Leuven. For example, the FBS campus in Antwerp has now been fully integrated with the adjacent KU Leuven campus in Korte Nieuwstraat. The close cooperation with the university offers our students the opportunity to benefit from the proximity of a leading knowledge institution with a global network and rich expertise in almost all fields. They can use the campus library, research databases, PC courses, and other cutting-edge university computing resources. We are happy to convey this partnership in our logo and corporate identity.
In addition, FBS also has a strong international orientation; for example, we work with the Kellogg School of Management (Chicago) and the Indian Institute of Management in Calcutta (IIMC).
From our focus on entrepreneurship, Flanders Business School wants to be a place of open discussion on strategy, management and innovation as keys to social progress.
As a business school, we offer our students a training based on a combination of high quality scientific research and recognized good practices, we encourage personal initiative and critical thinking in a culture of consultation, cooperation, solidarity and freedom. This is why FBS has a strong interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary orientation and we also work actively with partners at home and abroad
Mission:
Let entrepreneurs run and leaders do business.
Vision:
Businesses and entrepreneurs are an integral part of our economic fabric. Flanders Business School wishes to actively support them.
At FBS, we see it as a challenge to create added value, both for our partners and for our students.
We believe that a solid background in business (or management) with attention to the practical dimension of entrepreneurship can make the difference - hence: Business training at the crossroads of entrepreneurship and management. This is also the reason why in our programs we combine the knowledge and skills of the usual business training courses with the cases presented by our students - almost all entrepreneurs themselves.
With us you come out with a degree, an entrepreneurial attitude and a plan!
